You know 
Billys hope is to get as many people interested in the nite sky as this page will allow. So many of us just go about our daily routines and never look up at the wonder of the stars. So many of us are missing so much.
Billy is by no means an expert on the subject of astronomy, but he sure has seen some wonderful things in the past seven years since he began to look up at the nite sky. He has also walked into a tree, a utility pole (on more than one occasion ), tripped over curbs, fell into a roadside ditch (twice), been late for work, and complains about something called "Astronomy Neck" but he keeps looking up and always seems to find something new to tell his friends about.


HEY  CHECK THIS OUT!
Did you know that our closest galactic neighbor is so far away that it takes light traveling at 186,000 miles per second ( yes I said second ) 2.3 million years to get to our solar system. That is to say when you veiw the Andromeda Galaxy ( our closest galactic neighbor ) you are seeing it the way it was 2.3 millon years ago. It's like looking back in time, no, it is looking back in time.

Where is this "Billy" you might ask, well you might!, Billy might say to you,
