Billy's favorite friendly "little" programs
|
Moon Phase
displays the current phase of the moon.
You can also set any time and date to see what was and or what will be.
Moonman I just came acro--, oops, I mean Billy, just came across this one, it is a nice digital map of our moon, the Moon. Nice tool for learning the surface features ( and more ) of the Moon. Tonite is a handy dandy little piece of software that Billy found while "strolling on the net one day" that can tell you when the Sun will shine and the Moon will glow on most any day you wish. The amount of actual "dark sky" viewing time is what keeps Billy referring to it time and again. Planets is another one of those nifty little programs that Billy stumbled onto while spending some time on his pc. This program is a "shareware", but has no real limitations other than the nage screen. Billy likes it mostly for it's ability to display the planet Jupiter and the relationship of the Galilean Moons ( Io, Europa, Ganymede, and Callisto ) at any given time, day, and year.
SAVEING THE BEST FOR LAST Billy is running a little short of space on his server so he has provided a link to the STSPLUS web site where you can learn more about it's capabilitys and get the updated TLE list as they become availiable. STSPLUS
is the best Earth orbiting satelite tracking progam availiable
to date. |
